I have had this silver chrome uncomfortable to sit on chair in my cube since day one that I worked here. It’s a nice sturdy chair and I like that it’s a nice place holder for my bag. So I got curious and walked around the office and saw that there’s a lot of these scattered around. I soon forgot about them until I saw them being shown in a few shows on TV and in some music videos. You know, where the slutty songstress starts strip-dancing and making love to the chair? Anyway, I got back to work the other day and stared at this chair. I finally decided to just flip it over. Surprisingly light by the way. I see the label or brand of the chair and I google it. Emeco… to my surprise, they have a website: www.emeco.net

Ok cool! I take a look inside and start to look for my chair. Found it: My Chair! Oh and look a the price tag:  $415.00 USD!!  OMG!

I was cleaning my car this morning and I take everything out, wash, dust and clean everything. I can’t seem to know how I forgot but there was a small little hatch in the back that I remember putting stuff in. So I opened it and to my surprise there were some useless but nostalgic stuff inside. I threw away the items that I would never use again. Such as a mobile phone car adapter for a mobile phone I no longer have, some dusty ear phones, a mobile phone audio enhancer that never worked if I remember correctly and one item that I will surelly keep forever and happy to have found: A CD WALKMAN! My first ever CD Walkman that I bought myself when I was 15 years old back in 1999. I had my first time working in a small market as a bagger and what did I do with my first paycheck? Bought me this:

White-Westinghouse personal adido-cd player, or walkman as they were known in the 90s. I was so thrilled to find it. Batteries are dead but I was excited to find out that it still works. There was a CD inside!! (more…)

After work yesterday, I made an appointment with the good people at the Apple Genius Bar so I can get my MBP looked at. My battery performance has been really low and I’ve only had a good 30 minutes, fully charged, to use without the power source. Not good! Waited for about 10 minutes after I checked in. Apple looked at my laptop stats, saw I had the extended protection plan, swapped out the battery for a new one and done! I was impressed! So far, my experiences with them have been excellent. But it’s only one location. Other Apple Store locations have not impressed me as much as this one. I will keep going to them for my future Apple product needs.

As I was there, I picked up a few things. I need a car charger for my iPhone and iPod so I found one that has an fm-tuner radio in it, works great. I love it. Sound is not 100% and it doesn’t match a usb ready or auxiliary in/out ported car radio but it’s cheap, fast and just right for me. Also got an anti-glare/screen protector for my iPhone. I love the feel. It’s got a grainy touch but visibly the same, just with limited glare. Also, no nasty finger prints. (more…)

Some of items I ordered last week have arrived! Both packages arrived the same day and I was happy to see both were rubber-banded together.

My Kaskade Tshirt! I’m so happy it turned out the way I wanted. It’s a very comfy American Apparel shirt. Color is a Heater Grey and I ordered it from Kill The 8 Shop. It fits perfectly. Will be wearing it Friday as I go to Hollywood to see my friends roomate DJ the night away! (more…)
