I’m all for the movies but my first touch with this great story was in comic format then as a cartoon in the 90s. I loved them both and I grew up with them. Years later they made the first X-men live action movie and I was a kid again. I was disappointed at how fast the 2nd and 3rd installment came after and therefore, those were mediocre at best. Not bad, but not great either. I almost forgot about X-men: Evolution, the 2nd animated series that was aimed at a newer generation since the X-men were set as younger characters. It was very badly done. Animation was great but my god, full of angsty teenager emo crap in each episode. And now, since Wolverine has grown such a huge following and is also getting it’s own movie, Marvel brings us a 3rd animated series that features Wolverine as the leader of the X-men.
It looks really good. Mind you the animation is odd since they combine a lot of old costumes with the new but I’m excited.
