selphish needs help with with other University students in her outreach and support for Katrina victims who are students at LSU. I’ve got in contact with UCI and South OC Community College District with some support with their prospective Student Union. I hope they respond with interest so I can give the info to selphish!

In other news, my dad has been relocated to Lafayette, LA. Looks like he’ll be stationed there until the remainder of his contract. He is coming back for 4 days this Thanksgiving. We couldn’t be happier. I haven’t seen him since September and I miss him. He’s doing a great job though… I heard he took part in assessing the damage and reconstruction of the Super Dome in New Orleans. He’s helping with the smaller communities as well in reconstructing bridges, roadways, flooded streets, etc. He’s a program manager so he’s basically directing and configuring the costs of the various projects they are doing. He’s working 12 hours a day with very little sleep… most of the fault is that he misses his family but I encourage him to do his best and that we love him.

Dad left early this morning. He arrived at Washington DC around 2pm PST. My mom is sad but I’m keeping her distracted. We watched discs 1-3 of LOST and we’re so exhausted -___- Saving the last 3 disc for next weekend. I think TV Shows on DVD are so much better even though they release them months after the season ends. It’s hard to keep a schedule just to watch a TV Show… the DVD’s get rid of the commercials anyway. I’m to lazy to write more. ¬______¬

I asked my mom if we can have my BDAY dinner today since my dad leaves at 5am Sunday morning @@;! He’s departing from LAX and I’m glad we don’t have to take him. A shuttle has been provided.

HUGE! FUCKING HUGE! REALLY BIG ugly brown spider in MY CAR! It was just sitting there on it’s web it made ALL OVER my steering wheel and windshield. THANK GOD I WASN’T DRIVING ALREADY! D: I hade to kill it! It was like crevessed right inside my “vanity”/sun~block-mirror flap…thingy! The web was HUGE! Cleaned it up. Now I feel like there’s spiders crawling ALL over me ;~; *ick*

This is our last week with my dad. SO sudden. So little time. He’s not going to be here my my bday. Not a big ass deal but we always have dinner together on bday’s and now he’s not gonna be there…. and it’s hard right now to make time to do it because he has to get ready to leave. Oh well! *sad*
