Listening to Snow Patrol and loving it!
I’m sad for Yuki! She was doing fine after receiving three vaccinations from the vet but I think it’s hit her hard now. She’s not keeping her pace like she used to while we walk together and she’s sleeping a lot. Poor girl! I’ve let her rest for the past two days and tomorrow it’s off to the Doggy Hotel for two nights. I’m gonna miss her. I hate this though, we’re getting our entire house fumigated and tented. Apparently, we have termites! So I’m stuck in a hotel only a few blocks away from home for three days. Ick! I miss my room already (even though I’m in it right now)!
I’ve bought my tickets to go see The Fray in Seattle in August! It’s just a few blocks away from the Artic Club (the hotel I’ll be staying in) and I can’t wait! I’m still waiting for Snow Patrol to release any information on a possible US Tour but I doubt that will happen soon. They’ll all over Europe and soon Australia and New Zealand for the summer. Damn it! Kaskade concert is coming up soon. The day after I’m also going to Los Angeles for a rave. I’ve never been to one, so this will be interesting!
Work is good. I’ve completed about five hours worth of Adobe CS4 eSeminars online and I’ve been learning a lot. I’ve logged in about two hours worth of ADOBE TV as well. I love my job! Who would’ve guessed that working for a Home Decor related company will boost my creativity and encourage education? I only wish we had more money in our budget so I could go to some Expos and Creative Conferences. Perhaps next year, I hope!
Japan is gun-ho! I’ve got over $2k already paid and I’ve submitted my personal bio. and application to my instructor. Here’s wishing I won’t screw up and butcher anyone’s hard working English while I’m there. Oh yeah, I’ve volunteered to be a “TA” type tutor for sutdents in a small island in Okinawa called Yoron. I’m there for four weeks and I leave this May. Words can’t describe my excitment! And the best part is that work totally let me have the four weeks off!
