Pulled some interesting information over from What Japan Thinks regarding which films a Japanese native would recommend a foreigner to watch. So far, I’ve only seen となりのトトロ, 火垂るの墓, and 風の谷のナウシカ =__=; I want to see them all! Anybody seen any other on the list? If you have them can I get a ripped copy or a source where to download them?

Q: Which Japanese film would you most recommend to a foreigner to watch?

According to Rolling Stone, New York: Mar 9, 2006., Iss. 995; pg. 32, 1 pgs:

Amazon.com is planning to launch a digital music service as early as this summer to compete with Apple’s market-leading iTunes Music Store, according to industry sources and news reports. The online retailer, which claims more than 55 million current customers, is in discussions with all four major labels to license music; it will also make and sell an iPod-like player. “I am cautiously optimistic about this,” says Aram Sinnreich, a digital music expert with Radar Research, adding that Amazon will need to make a wide variety of songs available, as well as sleek, sexy hardware to play them. “Amazon’s as good a bet to do that as anybody.”

And in local news:
