And he’s back…

From outer space!

I’ll stop there! And I have started blogging again. Yes, it’s true. 2009 was a year full of ups and downs and now that 2010 is here, it’s time to change things up and start finishing the things I’ve set myself up to finish in the first place! Lots of plans this year!

First, ciaopanda.com is now ciaopanda.net because those bastards snatched .com from right underneath my nose. Ciaopanda.net is returning with all new writers, reviews, and something else. It’s a secret for now. But in reality, I don’t know yet what is that “something else”… I’ll figure it out or find it when I get there!

Second, adanrico.com is getting a full revamp! FINALLY! OMFG! ABOUT FREAKING TIME!

Third, going to Miami in march for some great music and vacation time. Upon my return, it’s off to Coachella music festival for 4 days. WISH ME LUCK! Then, if all goes well, you’ll find me in Mexico for a week in June to visit family and vacation. Not sure about late summer and fall at this point but I’m sure it will be worth it.

Would like to squeeze in some Japan time some where this year but that all depends on other stuff at the moment.

Currently, still working full time as a Web Developer for Smith+Noble! Going to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh: Online Division for my Bachelor of Science in Web Interactive Media & Design. Live in Newport Beach, CA with a very close friend of mine who saved my life (more on this later) but will soon move to Irvine, CA in April.

And I run… run so far away!

April goal has been met! Wazzzaaa! I win! And I’ve gained muscle! Wooot! Weight… not so much, LOL! So this month I’m dedicated to eating ultra healthy and loose weight! Need to be fit for Japan. I don’t want to be a straggler and fall behind. A lot of walking, out door activites and hiking! BRING IT ON! Plus, summer, in Japan, heard they’re a bitch!

May goal is set! Already on a roll… like to keep it that way. I’m increasing my speed and distance a little bit this time. So far, I’ve been clocking myself at an average of 3.5 miles at 18-20 minutes. I’ve only 21 days left until I’m off to Japan. Don’t know how much excersize I’ll be able to clock in while I’m gone but I’ll LOVE to just jog around some neighborhoods or on the beach but I won’t know until I’m there. Oh i’m so excited!

Heathius Healthius!

I’m just making up words because I’m down right crazy mad with my weight. Grrr! Yes, I’m exercising. Yes, I’m eating three healthy meals a day! No, I have not lost weight. YES, I have gained weight! WTF? I seriously need to rethink my diet or something. I’ve increased my raw fruits and vegetables intake. I’ve eliminated milk from my diet, I’m strictly soy-milk based. And I’ve been slowly creeping away from complex carbohydrates and learning how to consume healthy carbs and protein. *SIGH*

Oh, look what I found. Pretty and antibiotically safe H20 Water containers! YUMMY!

A healthy and sustainable lifestyle should be celebrated. Water was meant to be seen, not hidden inside a metal canteen.

The KOR ONE suffers no compromises – it’s made from health‐safe materials and designed with intuitive, surprising features.

We asked ourselves a simple question. What is the most annoying thing about water bottles? The answer: screw‐top caps. Screw it open, hold the cap, take a drink, screw it closed. Repeat. There has to be a better way, and there is. KOR ONE features a hinged cap and handle that allows for quick, easy access to drinking ‐ with one hand. And the cap won’t hit you in face while you’re drinking. Just think ‐ you’ll never have to look for that ‘water bottle top’ again.

The KOR ONE’s ergonomic opening provides a great drinking experience. Because the cap doesn’t screw on, there are no annoying threads on your mouth. The spout is large enough to let you go with the flow, but small enough to minimize splashes. Ice cubes are welcome as well. Let’s put it this way…not too big, not too small. It’s just right.

Drink a little water, and you’ll be a little healthier. Drink a little water from a reusable container, and the earth will be a little healthier. The KOR ONE hydration vessel will convince you that “green” water tastes better.

Made from Eastman Tritan™, the KOR ONE does not contain the chemical BPA, which is found in polycarbonate bottles. What does that mean? It’s simple. We believe you drink water to be healthy and we want to keep it that way.

Plans, I have important plans!

I’m having a BBQ the end of the month and I’m already stressing with planning out the details. BBQs are hardly formal but I got a lot of people coming so I need extra chairs and tables. I also need to figure out the music and sound system. I always change that and can never find something that fits our backyard patio. Then there’s the food, oh boy do I need a lot of food.

After coughing up my lung for the better half of this week, I missed three days of running. I was miserable and I couldn’t bare to run in my condition. I still have a cough but it’s not as bad, I continued my running routine yesterday and I did ok today. My goal is to run faster to be home quicker so that I can get to work earlier. This means, I must wake up earlier. My usually time clock for waking up is 6:30, and I’ve pushed it to 6:00. It’s working so far but I may have to push it back to 5:45 if I want to be at work by 7:00.
