New month, a new goal:

Haven’t been running for the past 3 days and I feel sick. I’ve gotten so used to it already, wow! Lots of items are planned for the weekend and I hope they all pull through. I hate being canceled on at the last minute. Next month is my concert month apparently. I have purchased my tickets for two major events, well one not so much but the other is huge. April 2nd, I am off to see Kaskade, live at RED NIGHT CLUB in Newport Beach. He’s great live! I love his music. Then, April 18th, I am honored to tag along with my great friend Jackie to Indio, California where Coachella will have its three day festival. However, I’ll be only attending for one day. Should be really fun and exciting. Other artist I plan to book tickets for are: Pitbull, No Doubt, The Fray and Snow Patrol. It is my ultimate goal for this year to see them all live!

After 2 months of being without Yuki, my white Jindo canine companion, she is coming home tomorrow. I miss her greatly and I’m super excited. The yard fence took longer than expected and we’ve delayed her return time after time. She’s been staying with the family I adopted her from. Yuki’s mom and dad are still alive so she got to spend some time with her parents and her old family. But it’s time to come home now.

Metropolis: Japan Beat

Monkey Majik

The Canadian-Japanese quartet break the language barrier

Are they a Japanese band, a gaijin band, a bit of both—or does it even matter? In an ideal world where identity is no longer tied to a narrow definition of race, the last is the preferred answer. By current standards, though, Canadian-Japanese quartet Monkey Majik are more Japanese than most.
